Art is where I go to explore and to express. It's where I lose myself but find my way. My recent extensive travel throughout northern India and Nepal fueled my passion further and inspired my prolific works of art. As an artist I have always been influenced by my surrounding drawing energy and ideas from my immediate reality. Usually that idea is short -live and comes to me in my dreams.

My painting explores the flow of femininity, emphasizes women's issues and raises questions about identity. The forms, though may appear unconventional and exotic to some. In the multicultural society, I would like the viewers transcend this apparent exoticness and absorb the core message - Women's outer strength and inner beauty.

Sometimes what art can do? And what makes it valuable? Is that it can transport the viewer to somewhere new. It can create a new thing or experience that exists outside of the rules of global capital. I try to create in my work a space that can pick up on a moment of compromised beauty and enjoy the wonder of that without denying its flaws and fallacies.

My painting often takes a life of it own after only few strokes.  In animate objects comes to life as I internalizes the reason for there existence and projects my thoughts and feeling onto the canvas. The painting are bathed in a warm luminous light , a result of complex , yet subtle laying of colour  and patterns that enriches the ethereal beauty found in the fairer sex . Human forms become symbols of the struggle between nature and the environment. The human experience is captured as a moment in time and suspended on the canvas for eternity.

I kinda think of myself a defective baroque painter, edging towards realism, tripping over minimalism in other words flirting with disaster.
